1. How do I book an appointment?

Please contact our rooms by phone on 03 9419 8333 to arrange an appointment.

Alternatively you can go to our ‘Contact Us’ page and send us a request through there.

Dr Suzana requires that you organise a referral from your GP and have this faxed or posted to our clinic.
The reason why you need a referral is answered below.

 

2. What should I bring with me to my first appointment?

If you have Medicare and wish to receive your Medicare rebate you will be required to obtain a referral from your GP prior to your appointment and have this faxed or posted to our office.

·      Medicare and any private health insurance details.

·      All relevant reports including pathology test results, x-rays, ultrasounds.

·      A list of all medications that you are currently taking.

·      A list of any known drug allergies and the symptoms.

·      If you have had surgery anywhere else, you will need to bring a copy of your operation record with you.

4. I am pregnant and I want to know what I need to expect?

Dr Suzana goes through everything you need to be aware about as a first time parent and also for those mums and dads who need to refresh their minds.
 

5. What if I have my period on the day of my consultation or procedure?

In regards to the consultation, you should really try to track this before you book your appointment so you have a rough idea about your period. However it also depends on the type of appointment you have, so best to call our rooms if you aren’t sure.

As for the procedure, it will depend on what type of procedure you are having as some are easier if you are menstruating whilst others cannot be done if you are bleeding. Please call our rooms to check if you aren’t sure.
 

6. Does my private health insurance cover my consultation fees?

No, your private health insurance only helps with the costs if you are admitted in hospital.
 
 

7. How can I pay for my appointment?

We accept cash, credit or debit card payments.

Bank transfers are only accepted for our obstetrics payments for the 28 week fee.

 

8. Will my medical records be kept private & confidential?

The matters of your medical record will not be released without your signed consent. Your medical records are handled with the highest respect for your privacy. We endorse strict confidentiality requirements concerning your medical records.
